Cliche Verses.Part II

Ok,as promised,this is part 2 (:

For Death;

Psalms 23:1-6
The Lord is my shepherd;I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters.
He restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name's sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
For you are with me;
Your rod and your staff,
They comfort me.
You prepare a table before me
In the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup overflows.
Surely goodness and mercy
Shall follow me all the days of my life,
And I shall dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

Why for His name's sake?I dont understand.Why did GOD create us to worship Him?My pastor says I'm maturing,but I can't feel it lah ): Anyways,whatever it is,I think the passage reassures us that the GOD we hold in high regard is one who is faithful,merciful and comforting. (:

2 Timothy 4:7
I have fought the good fight,
I have finished the race,
I have kept the faith.

Isn't this phrase wonderful?I think it'd sum up a wonderful life,fitting of that of a matyr.If I'm not wrong,the defination of that is one who sacrifices (his) life for (his) faith.Meaning to say,(he) doesn't succumb to the circumstances,but have faith in the LORD.By the way,faith is not blind belief.That'd be negligience.Faith is knowing the consequences of what is to come,yet at the same time surrendering our all and placing our trust in Him who knows best. (:

For Forgiveness;

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death,
but the free gift of GOD is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Matthew 18:21-22

Forgiveness removes all hatred and brings peace to the heart.It allows space for healing to begin. (:
